Founded by Chicano artist, educator and tattooist, Jon Gòmez, Macondo is a private tattoo studio in Brooklyn providing space for emerging artists to develop their own voice and practice.

Foghorn Co. created a one channel video installation for the Brooklyn tattoo studio, Macondo in partnership with Andaz Hotel for a three month engagement. Located on 5th Avenue between 42nd and 41st street in NYC, we incorporated the street into the cinema vérité style / performance documentary of singular tattoo session.
